CardioCoach CO2™ FAQ Does this unit require a computer interface?
Yes. The CardioCoachCO™2 requires a computer. The multiple graphs are displayed on the screen, and are printed directly from the computer.
What additional information does CO2 measurement provide?
Measuring CO2 in addition to O2 consumption allows for the analysis of substrate utilization, which is, in its simple terms, the body's usage of fat and carbohydrates. In more technical terms, it will give you a Respiratory Exchange Ratio (RER).
Do you need to manually calibrate the device?
CardioCoach CO2™, and all other KORR™ measurement devices, auto calibrate. It is important to note that KORR™ devices calibrate to temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure, making them both simple to operate and highly accurate.
Is it ECG compatible?
CardioCoach CO2™ is compatible with both wired and wireless ECG available directly from KORR™.
Does it interface with an ergometer or treadmill?
CardioCoach CO2™ interfaces with both ergometers and treadmills. Contact a KORR™ sales representative for details.
